We've found this muzzle very useful for our rescue dog Ozzie who can be quite fearful in certain situations. He wears the muzzle for treatment at the vets or when he meets new dogs off lead. Ozzie is a very gentle, sensitive boy, so correct introduction of the muzzle was essential. We started in the house placing a treat (cheese) inside for him to take. Gradually over a number of weeks clipping the strap on and off and rewarding. We also popped it on just before a walk (only for a minute) so he associates it with something good.
